Hey, my name is Fred McGuinness and I am a Downhill/AT Skier. I have been skiing for 15 years.

Pick me because: I am no regular weekend warrior. I am a Samurai. From sleet in October to rainy days in June, I ski every single chance I get!

About Me

My ambitions plans for next winter: Trips. Lots of em. Rockies, Rogers, Coast, Tetons, Wasatch. Short, Medium, Long. Expeditions. Northern BC. Yea. Where can you find me next winter? Everywhere there is snow.

Why I Ski: Why do I ski? Why not? Why do you ski? Is it because it makes you feel more alive? Or is it because it's the only time you feel alive? Maybe because it's so limited, everything has been done? Or maybe because it's WIDE OPEN, and the possibilities are ENDLESS. Why do I ski? For the adventure. For the fun of it. For that moment when the whole world melts off your shoulders. When the hold of gravity lets go, everything goes silent, and the world stops. . . For the next moment when the whole world rockets back to catch up. For the moment that you jump off and realize that it really was a lot bigger than you thought. For all the stormy days, cold beers and colder nights. For all the times talking about how big it was, how bad it was and how close it was. And for that one day that it all comes together.

Awesome FRED!!!

I've seen Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo and Michealagelo but Fredwardo is the best Ninja Turtle I have ever seen in the Mountains!

Freddy is keen to as many adventures packed in to a little time as possible. The ultimate motivator. Many a Friday night after work, sleeping in on Saturday morning seemed a powerful option and Freddy with his energy gets the adventure going and the those plans of sleeping in seemed like a distant blurry memory. Thanks for the adventures Fred. I would vote for Fred any day.

Love to see you win this Fred. Good Luck man

Like Manda, I also enjoy your moves, but only the G-rated ones.

Fred, aka freduardo, freddychef, fredino or whomever you know him by RIPS IT. This induvidual can be counted on to make sure the gnar is shredded to max everyday, bar none. Rain, fog, slush or ice; one look over at Fred and it becomes apparent who is having the most fun out there! And let there be know doubt that it is infectious...
The is no other guinea pig in the world I would rather ride with, even if he is a two planker - no hard feelings, haha.

Keep that skin track blazin' - onwards and upwards to the powder and the glory!

Yeah Fred !! Best skier I know.

I'll attest to this. When the rest of the world is thinking "summer", he's thinking "skiing". One crazy dude.

This guy is the best skier I know, bar none. From twister-twister-spreads off the bumps to back-flips of big cliffs, he can pull off tricks that I've never even heard off. Shred some Gnar buddy!!

Go Fred!

Fred - you effing rip! You have my vote because you're a big stinky powder pirate..... Thanks for being the Guinea Pig all these years!

I'll vote for this guy anyday! He can shred anyday, anywhere and always does it in style with a big smile on his face. Go Fred!

yay! Go Fred.

I like your moves!
